2. About JTBD Club

JTBD Club is a community space for founders, product people, and creators to explore important needs and validate opportunities before building solutions. We focus on the Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) methodology to help identify and understand customer needs, problems, and struggles.

3. Membership and Participation

3.1 Eligibility

To participate in JTBD Club activities, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Agree to abide by our community rules and guidelines

3.2 Registration

When registering for our Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your registration information
• Keep your password and account information confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

3.3 Community Rules

As a member of JTBD Club, you agree to:

1. Contribute proactively to conversations and work
2. Improve on others' ideas in a constructive manner
3. Be honest about what you know, what you don't know, and what's an assumption
4. Understand that assumptions and hypotheses are just a first step of knowledge and need to be tested
5. Refrain from discussing your own solutions during JTBD exploration sessions
6. Respect that no individual owns the JTBD and surfaced ideas, but anyone present can use the insights
7. Share all findings within the community
8. Help bring other good people to the community

4. Workshop Format and Participation

4.1 Preparation

Participants are expected to prepare 1-3 JTBD relevant to them, explaining what the JTBD is, its frequency, who has it, and why it is relevant.

4.2 Workshop Sessions

Workshop sessions typically last 2-4 hours and involve 4-8 people with diverse backgrounds. Participants will:

• Pitch their JTBD ideas
• Vote on which ideas to explore
• Collaborate using provided tools and frameworks
• Follow the facilitated workshop structure

4.3 Follow-up Activities

After sessions, participants are expected to:

• Talk to 2-5 people from the target segment to test assumptions
• Update the customer forces map based on findings
• Share insights with the community

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Community Insights

No individual owns the JTBD and surfaced ideas discussed during JTBD Club sessions. All participants are free to use the insights gained during sessions.

5.2 Documentation

All ideas and findings are aggregated in documents accessible to the community. By participating, you agree that your contributions may be documented and shared within the community.

5.3 JTBD Club Content

All content provided by JTBD Club, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of JTBD Club or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

6. User Conduct

6.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
• Use the Services for any commercial purposes without our prior written consent
• Engage in any behavior that contradicts our community rules
